Oncology Services
Comprehensive Treatment for All Phases of Cancer Care
One in two Americans will develop cancer during their lifetime. While cancer treatment dramatically increases survivability, many patients suffer from debilitating side effects during their treatment. They may be left with permanent, often devastating, physical impairments. These impairments can lead to an increased risk of other illnesses or a lower quality of life. Cancer survivors who develop symptoms such as the following will benefit from a focused rehabilitative program that addresses these and other problems during any phase of cancer therapy. Rehabilitation can substantially improve quality of life.
Rehab In Motion & Physical Therapy offers skilled professionals who recognize the need to address these disabling impairments associated with cancer treatment. We work to help restore cancer survivors’ optimum level of physical health and maximize enjoyment for life. Our Center offers a wide range of services for the cancer survivor including physical therapy—therapeutic strategies including flexibility, strengthening, reconditioning, debilitation risk reduction, postural retraining, pain management, and manual therapy.
These services address all phases of cancer care. They are tailored to meet patients’ needs before, during and after medical cancer treatment.
